Privacy policy

We take your privacy and data very seriously. This commitment starts with a least-privilege philosophy: You can enjoy our services completely anonymously.

In fact, unless you sign up for "Friends of the Show", we collect no information about you at all. Our ads are ethical, related to our content, and do zero tracking or retargeting. They are simply image tags and a link to the service or product.

Data sharing

We do not share your information other than where is required to operate our business (e.g. Paddle because they manage our credit card infrastructure for courses -- more details below on these services). Your information is safe and private with us.

Marketing communications

You are not required to take part in marketing communications to use our services. You may optionally choose to become a "Friend of the Show" which simply puts you on our mailing list.

If you cannot find an old email with the unsubscribe link to unsubscribe, just send us a message from the account you want to unsubscribe to contact@talkpython.fm and we'll take you off the list.

Portability and erasure

The only data we potentially have of yours is your email address. If you want it gone, simply unsubscribe from the mailing list (see above).

Data retention

We retain the very limited information we have about you (your email address if you provided it) indefinitely unless you explicitly unsubscribe as described under "Marketing communications."

External services

As stated above, we do not share your data except potentially through our courses platform. You can find that privacy policy here.
